Services at Hinsdale Animal Hospital

We take great pride in our state of the art surgical facilities. Routine surgeries are performed on a daily basis at all three clinics, however you may also see our doctors removing stones from Felix the cat's bladder, pulling out a sewing needle from Poochie's stomach, or even removing an infected ear canal from a Cocker Spaniel. In addition, many of our doctors have taken post-graduate courses on advanced orthopedic procedures such as total hip replacements, fracture repairs, knee surgeries, and more.

Our doctors are very knowledgeable and current on all aspects of veterinary medicine. Due to the many hours and large number of cases our doctors see on any given day, they have been exposed to a tremendous amount of challenging medical cases such as renal failure, unregulated diabetes, cardiac and respiratory disease, cancer, and more. Consequently they are all very experienced and kept current on any new treatments or medicine that would offer the best care for your pet.

We are proud of our boarding facilities at all three clinics and welcome visitors. At Hinsdale Animal Hospital dogs reside in indoor climate-controlled runs with an outside exercise facility.

Happiness is a professionally groomed pet. Our grooming staff will keep your pet looking beautiful and feeling healthy for many years to come. The groomers work with all breeds of dogs and cats, providing clipping, dipping, bathing, nail trims and comb-outs.

Good nutrition is just as important to pets as it is to people. Proper diet can help control some of the problems that affect our pets. Our doctors and staff are available to answer any questions you may have and guide you on a proper nutrition path for your pet. Ask about our computerized weight management program for those overweight pets.

Behavior problems can be frustrating to correct. Whether it is a new puppy or kitten, older dog or cat, it is important to get the right answers. Our staff can consult with you in areas of concern and if necessary, we can also recommend programs and specialists in those areas.

To help get you and your new puppy off to a good start, we offer puppy classes at no charge, held at Animal Care Center. Have fun learning about health, obedience and behavioral topics while your pup has fun learning to socialize with others. We also offer advanced puppy and obedience at a competitive fee.

There are times you may not be able to make it to our facility and on those occasions we are happy to come to you. House call service is available on an appointment system.

One of our staff or management will be happy to discuss the basis for fees and explain what is necessary to provide quality care for your pet. We urge our clients to ask questions about our fees prior to beginning treatment. An itemized approximation of the expected charges will be provided prior to surgery or major hospitalization. To keep our fees as low as possible, it is the hospital policy that all accounts are settled before you pet is taken home. For you convenience, payments can be made by cash, check, or most major credit cards, or ask about our no-interest payment program (subject to approval prior to services being rendered.)
